first bronze was cast in 1976. The sculpting process is
arduous and each piece represents many months of work.

bronze sculptures masterfully capture each animal's
Inhabitants of the Deer Mountain
area (brook trout, ruffed grouse, red squirrel, five-point
whitetail buck, cottontail, and beaver), which lies
just south of Terry Peak, South Dakota. The original
was a commissioned piece.
